As in many of his works, the artist creates a sense of <strong>depth<\/strong> here, starting with the foreground, where a yellow path draws the viewer into the painting, but quickly disappears into a green meadow. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The green tones are <strong>variously nuanced<\/strong>, ranging from a very light shade to an almost black green, which was the only one applied thickly with an <strong>impasto brushstroke<\/strong>. The area extends into the background, where it becomes a green mountain range, and over which the painter, with <strong>few brushstrokes<\/strong> and a <strong>delicate touch<\/strong>, allows birds to emerge and fly. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this <strong>focus<\/strong>, the <strong>oil painting<\/strong> is on five <strong>symmetrically<\/strong> arranged <strong>trees<\/strong> in the center of the image, whose thick, pink blossoms resemble peonies in their form. Two of them form the vanguard and are <strong>in perspective<\/strong> also <strong>larger<\/strong>, with their blossoms depicted <strong>more intensely<\/strong> and with <strong>greater detail<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The thin, black trunks, with their <strong>jagged form<\/strong>, stand out clearly against the predominantly light background, which shows us white clouds on a <strong>pleasant spring day<\/strong>. In the upper center of the image, the blue of the sky is visible in a small, <strong>abstract form<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The painting is <strong>compositionally symmetrical<\/strong> in its entirety. <strong>Andr\u00e9 Evard&#8217;s<\/strong> work could be divided into two <strong>almost identical halves<\/strong>.
