Dans \u00ab Jacinthe bleue \u00bb de 1940, Andr\u00e9 Evard conjugue le motif classique de la nature morte avec une dynamique expressive. La jacinthe centrale, dot\u00e9e de cinq feuilles vertes dress\u00e9es, \u00e9merge d\u2019un pot. Les fleurs, aux tons riches de bleu et de violet, sont appliqu\u00e9es par touches l\u00e9g\u00e8res. La table inclin\u00e9e au motif de raphia et l\u2019arri\u00e8re-plan flamboyant aux nuances d\u2019orange, de rouge et de jaune reprennent le mouvement du feuillage et conf\u00e8rent \u00e0 l\u2019\u0153uvre une impression de vie.
