Durant cette p\u00e9riode, il entreprend de plus en plus de voyages \u00e0 Paris et s&rsquo;inspire de l&rsquo;architecture, des mus\u00e9es, des galeries et des artistes de la ville. Il enrichit ensuite son art de ce th\u00e8me industriel et urbain, qui trouvera son apog\u00e9e dans son \u0153uvre \u00ab La Machine \u00bb de la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e. La vue de la ville, ax\u00e9e sur le pont et la Seine, se caract\u00e9rise par la <strong>r\u00e9duction aux formes g\u00e9om\u00e9triques de base<\/strong>. D&rsquo;\u00e9paisses lignes de contour noires d\u00e9limitent les arbres et les nuages, retracent les vagues ainsi que les fa\u00e7ades des b\u00e2timents en arri\u00e8re-plan. <strong>L&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur des formes<\/strong> est g\u00e9n\u00e9reusement rempli de <strong>couleurs fauvistes \u00e9clatantes<\/strong>.
