Cette aquarelle pr\u00e9sente un bouquet de fleurs aux couleurs intenses et \u00e0 la composition libre, compos\u00e9 de tons jaunes, rouges et verts pos\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re dynamique. Les fleurs et les feuilles individuelles ne sont que sugg\u00e9r\u00e9es et se dissolvent dans un entrelacs de lignes rapides et gestuelles, conf\u00e9rant au bouquet un effet vivant, presque vibrant. Le vase est \u00e9lanc\u00e9, trait\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on quasi transparente, et agit davantage comme un support graphique que comme un objet mat\u00e9riel. L\u2019arri\u00e8re-plan reste neutre, permettant au motif floral de ressortir avec d\u2019autant plus de force.
\nL\u2019\u0153uvre s\u2019inscrit dans la phase tardive de la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019Evard, qui se caract\u00e9rise par une plus grande libert\u00e9 dans le traitement des formes et des couleurs. L\u2019artiste revient ici \u00e0 un ductus plus expressif et spontan\u00e9. Le travail allie clart\u00e9 structurelle et dissolution picturale, ce qui est typique de la p\u00e9riode tardive d\u2019Evard, durant laquelle il assouplit les compositions strictes au profit d\u2019une application de la couleur plus ludique et \u00e9motionnelle. L\u2019utilisation de l\u2019aquarelle renforce cette impression de l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9 et de transparence, car les couleurs se fondent les unes dans les autres et transmettent une certaine imm\u00e9diatet\u00e9.
